After a 1-1 showing on Saturday, West hit the road to Carmel Middle School. Game 1 started out slow and West had a tough time finding any rhythm on either ends of the floor. With Carmel’s bolstering attitude, West had a difficult time getting momentum from anyone on the floor. Going into the fourth quarter West got some momentum and played hard but it was too late as Carmel had not lost the lead the whole game and finished the game out 48-37.
