After a 1-1 showing on Saturday, West hit the road to Carmel Middle School. Game 1 started out slow and West had a tough time finding any rhythm on either ends of the floor. ZWMS vs Brownsburg West Z West went into the first round of the NSC Tournament on a winning streak and feeling confident. It was a very impressive team effort that led West to beat host Avon South by 15 points. West found themselves up 17-11 at halftime thanks to some very tough defense. The second half was more of the same, with West outscoring Avon by 9 in the half to win by a final score of 39-24. The team had a balanced attack on offense, led by Ian Seward with 13 points.
