The Eagles continued their strong start to the season last night winning again at home 32-24. It was a back and forth game, but Zionsville held on to beat Westfield to move to 5-0 on the year. The Eagles held Westfield to only 3 points in both the second and third quarters. Adam Melliere again led the scoring with 15 points including two 3-pointers. Logan Imes had 9 strong points, Braydon Snyder chipped in 4 points, and Merrick Macaluso and Nick Richart each played aggressive on offense and ended with 2 points.
In the B game, Zionsville again kept up their winning streak, pulling ahead to win 39-26. Nate Horten was unstoppable inside the paint and led all scorers with 18 points. Michael Krkoska had 6 points in the win, and Evan Huber kept up his hot shooting with 6 points as well. Easton Moore had 5 points, and Kade Langhorst played his best game of the year on defense and also ended with 4 points.
The Eagles will look to continue their winning ways this Monday at Fishers Junior High.
