The Eagles started off well playing on the road against Noblesville East. West was winning 12-8 after the first quarter, playing well both offensively and defensively. The Eagles gave up 17 points in the second quarter but went into the half down by just 3. The second half was a high scoring half, but the Eagles couldn’t keep up with Noblesville East’s 21 for 27 from the free throw line for the game, as West shot just 3 free throws the entire game. In the end, West lost a tough one 45-56. The team was led by Isaiah Davis with 17 points and 6 blocks, Billy Smith also had 17 points, while Owen Rossell chipped in 11 points.
The Eagles outscored their opponent in each of the 4 quarters and maintained a solid lead throughout the game! Seven Eagles scored in the game in this total team effort. Elliott Rosell scored 11 points and Carter Lile scored 9 points to lead the way. For the first time this season, the Eagles made their free throw percentage goal by shooting 78% from the line. Final Score was 38-25 in Favor of the Eagles.
