Reasoner and Whitham lead the Freshman Eagles over McCutcheon (1/17/18)

January 18, 2018

After a cold ride to McCutcheon in a bus with no heat, the Freshman Boys basketball found themselves down last night to McCutcheon mid-way through the first quarter. The Eagles eventually thawed out and managed to even up the quarter at 15 each. Connor Jones was assigned the defensive responsibility to stop the McCutcheon key scorer, and that he did. The Eagles had a terrific team defensive effort the second quarter to take a 10 point half-time lead into the locker room. The Eagles would not look back from there and even ending the 3rd quarter with a half-court buzzer-beater by Kyle Reasoner. Zach Whitham caught fire beyond the arc knocking down 6 three-pointers in the game. The Eagles go on to win 59-38.

Scoring for your Freshman Eagles:

Kyle Reasoner 22

Zach Whitham 20

Alec McCarty 8

C. Maxwell 7

O. Prickett 2
