A Combination of team defense and Edward Thomas’ 19 points lead Z West to 28-17 victory over Noblesv
A Game: ZWMS vs Noblesville East
Your Eagles A team corrected their two game losing skid by beating Noblesville East on Tuesday. West played very strong defense all game long, holding Noblesville East to just 17 points total. The offense couldn’t seem to hit any shots, and still found themselves up by 10 at halftime. The Eagles ended the game going 1/14 on three point attempts, but again because of excellent team defense, West won the game by a final score of 28-17. The team was led in scoring by Edward Thomas with 19 points (including 5/6 on free throws), followed by Ryan Luke with 6, and Seth Hogg had 3. A combination of Will Nobbe and Brock Maxwell kept Noblesville East’s best player in check all game long, and forced him into some tightly contested shots. Ian Seward provided great interior defense and rebounding throughout the game.
B Game: ZWMS vs. Noblesville East
