Game 1 started well as Noblesville East came out shooting cold which gave the Eagles a chance to get into rhythm and find their groove. The Eagles went into the half only up by 2. While the Millers came out hot in the second half, the Eagles were able to extinguish their hot start and a clutch 3 early in the fourth quarter by Jameson Laughlin gave the Eagles the energy they needed to finish the game winning 35-25. The Eagles were led by a strong performance from Simon Wilkinson with 17 points. The rest of the scoring was well distributed with 7 points from Laughlin, 6 points from Anderson, 4 points from Myers, and 1 point from Neal.
Game 2 started off well with good defensive possessions from the Eagles which turned into great offense. The Eagles found open shots early and were able to execute. After a late 2nd quarter push from the Millers the Eagles were able to turn good defense into offense and scorch passed the Millers winning 44-19 not allowing a point to be scored in the fourth quarter by the Millers. The Eagles were led by a strong shooting performance from Jakob Collier with 18 points. The rest of the scoring was distributed well amongst Lincoln Belser with 9, Noah Almeida with 6, Jake Cero with 6 all coming from free throws, Deacon with 3, Michael Loya with 2. The Eagles are back in action on Thursday against Western Boone at home at 5:30.
