Midway through the season Z'West 7th Grade record remains unblemished

StartFragmentZWEST went on the road Tuesday night for what would be their toughest test of the year so far. The Eagles were able to get out to a quick first quarter lead with balanced scoring from the team. Four threes in the second quarter would help the Eagles spread the lead out to 14 at the half. In the second half West would continue holding on to the 14 point lead for most of the half closing out the game with a win 59-46. Max Phenicie had a huge game with his first double double of the season going for 12 points and 12 rebounds. Tielker would lead all scorers with 16 followed by Maddox Mitchell with 13. Maguire Mitchell had some key rebounds finishing with 8 boards and 9 points on the night. Also scoring Hilton with 4, Smith with 3 and Wilson with 2. In the second game the Eagles were able to jump out to an early lead going in to the half up 10 after holding Noblesville scoreless in the second quarter. In the second half West continued to limit the good attempts by Noblesville and would go on to win 28-15. Agbonhese continues to be a driving force behind the Eagles success going for 16 rebounds and 16 points. Smith chipped in 4 followed by Stark with 3. Schaaf and sullivan each had 2 and Peterson added 1. Zwest is back on the road Thursday night vs WEBO. EndFragment
