In the semi finals of the NSC tournament the Eagles faced Avon North. West was able to connect early and often and opened up a 16-2 first quarter lead. West would go on to earn a trip to the championship with a 40-18 win. Maguire Mitchell led the team with 9 followed closely by Maddox Mitchell with 8 and Tielker with 7. Smith had two early threes for his 6 points and Phenicie chipped in 4. Hilton, Wilson and Sullivan all added 2 each.
In the finals West would face ZMS for the third time this season with the opportunity for an undefeated season and conference championship. West struggled from the field the entire first quarter but would finally connect from deep a few times in the second to open up a lead. In the second half West opened up a 10 point lead but some untimely turnovers late in the 4th would allow ZM to close the game within 2. West would hold off a last second attempt by ZM and take the conference championship 29-26. Max Phenicie led West with 9 points and 10 rebounds. Tielker had 8 followed by Maguire Mitchell with 7. Hilton had two key buckets for 4 points and Maddox Mitchell had a late free throw to help extend the lead.
West finished the season 20-0 as an “A” team and 32-1 as a combined A and B team.
